Private Music Lessons

Private Music Lessons should be available for everyone. We offer lessons for several age ranges; 2-10 years old, 11-17 years old, and Adults. Music Lessons are tailored for each individual student, whether training for an audition, just starting an instrument, wanting to expand your musical knowledge, or work on fine and gross motor skills - we want to help you feel as comfortable as possible while learning.

For ages 2-10 lessons are focused on enjoyment of making sound, fine and gross motor skills, music terminology, and figuring out what role an instrument will play as they get older. A parent or guardian is required to stay for the full lesson. These lessons start at 30 minutes, and can go up to 90 minutes. The lessons are broken up to help with attention span, and are designed to be engaging the full way through. Lessons are not instrument specific until age 8 - with a goal of developing core skills, confidence, attention span (age specific) and coordination.

For ages 11-17 lessons are focused on developing technique and skills on a particular instrument. Instrument rentals are available starting at age 11, and the individual lesson goals vary from student to student. Whether wanting to learn new technique and practical skills for auditions, keeping up (or getting ahead) in class, or learning a hobby to help with anxiety and building confidence - ages 11-17 are focused on getting fully comfortable in an instrument, with the bonus of adding additional instruments during lesson time to help promote creativity, and cross trained skills. Lesson times range from 30-90 minutes.

For adults, whether picking up an instrument for the first time, relearning a new skill, or polishing a current instrument - lessons are designed around your main goal. With flexible timing, an option for hybrid lessons, and a focus on complete comprehension while learning how to relax and have fun with an instrument.
