Music Theory and Composition Courses
The Music Theory and Composition courses are individually designed for each student with a goal of genuine comprehension in application of the concepts taught. These 90-120 minute long courses (time changes available for accommodations) are built custom for each students goals. The Music Theory Intensive and Music Theory and Composition Intensives are rigorous intensive courses that are designed to cover a full scope of the history of Theory, the practical applications, and the connection between styles of composition.

Bethany Ann has specialties in Modal Theory and Composition - and hand designs each course with the student in mind. She teaches Music Theory, Music Theory and Composition, and Paced Courses.

Calian Raine specializes in positionality, functional classical application of theory for breaking down audition pieces, and creating connection between the theory learned about in school classes with pieces being played. She teaches Paced Courses.

Courses longer than 8 weeks are available for students who have longer term goals with Theory and Composition or who want the amount of information covered in the intensive - but over an amount of time that benefits their specific learning style. Not every learner absorbs content in the same time frame, and elongating a course is a simple way to make sure you are getting everything you need out of these programs.
